I made this card for my husband using a few ideas from some online challenges/contests, because I was struggling with an idea of what to make him I do not have any "masculine" stamps but I used what I had to see if I could do it, and I am rather pleased with the end results. Although this card did take the better part of 4 days to complete, since it really stretched my abilities and imagination
The grosgrain ribbon pull sides actually pull out. I am going to write on one side why I love my husband and on the otherside/one, why he's a great Dad I used the Long Rectangles Nestabilities to make the pockets for the "note cards".
I stamped the house image from Thomas Kinkade, in Memento "London Fog" (grey) ink, and heat embossed it in clear embossing powder. It very much has a texture to it to give the card/image some interest. I used clear Dew Drops on the bottom right. The brads are from Making Memories, I believe. And the white paper is watercolor quality and weight, to stand up to the weight of the card and moving parts.
I'm sorry, I do not remember who the paper is from, I have had it in my stash for the last 3 years, with no name of the manufacturer on the back.
